Really nice young man was our waiter. Everything was so good even the nachos were homemade chips.

The food here is definitely "down home." It's like eating in a family members house. One negative is that this place is very expensive. I personally don't think it's worth the extra money and I am a former chef and restaurant owner,

We've lived in the area for 16 years, passed by this it thousands of time and we finally got to try this place. Our neighbor highly recommended this restaurant and we went together. It's a tiny restaurant with only a few tables and there's a bar on the other side. You need to get there early otherwise you'll have to wait a while. It is a family restaurant and it feels like one. The food is good and the burger is excellent. The service is great as well. This place is surely a gem and if you've been there you know it. That's why the parking lot is full and there's a line unless you go super early. There are many good reasons for that.

Found this little pub gem thanks to Yelp and was pleasantly surprised. Delightful steak sandwich and onion rings. Definitely low brow, dive type joint, but super delicious greasy pub food. Definitely worth a stop on your way from NY to the Poconos in PA.

Montville has a 'where everyone knows your name' kind of bar. The service is sweet, friendly and fun, the energy is familiar and cozy and the food is even better! I had this chocolate mousse that made me float right up to the ceiling. If I still lived in Montville it would definitely be my local! Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.
